@The Cyan Click is a revolution in product design. No bigger than the QBD76 but packed full of
@features it is the first in the Cyan range. The Click is an integrated amplifier with control for
@both digital and analogue inputs and also wireless via our unique digital bluetooth system.

@Digital connectivity is via a BNC coax, optical TOSLink or USB input and all are converted

@@The wireless connectivity via our Bluetooth system gives the ability for A2DP enabled
@phones, digital assistants and personal computers to transmit high quality audio without the
@need for cables. The Cyan Click includes our custom designed Bluetooth receiver that extracts

@@Recreating the quality of film in movie theatres, with every nuance reproduced, was JVCfs aim when equipping
@the D-ILA front projector models with original picture modes. Colours displayed by projectors and those found in
@film are processed differently as projectors display colours using an additive colour mixture method where RGB 
@primary colours are layered on top of each other. On the other hand, film in movie theatres use a subtractive
@colour mixture method that filters CMY colours out of the light source. With the additive colour mixture method, 
@colours become brighter as colours are added and due to an increase in energy, eventually turn white. However,
@the opposite can be said for the subtractive colour mixture method where colours become darker and eventually 
@turn black. JVC engineers thoroughly analysed the two methods and succeeded in developing an optimised picture 
@display by performing advanced processing using a built-in LSI. So this means that now what was once difficult to 
@reproduce in the home environment such as the delicate textures and nuances of film can now be seen just like
@at a movie theatre.

@EAll is not bleak, however. A few of Hovland's prized products are slated to continue. Design and 
@manufacturing rights to the Music Groove 2 phono cable, which Michael Fremer re-reviewed in 
@the July 2009 installment of his Stereophile column, "Analog Corner," have been purchased by
@ Bob Graham of Graham Engineering. Presumably, Graham will continue to offer the same wire 
@under its own name, possibly with a new choice of connectors; the Music Groove 2 should be
@back in stock within a few months. While the fate of Hovland MusiCaps, which have found their 
@way into hundreds of OEM speakers and electronic component`s, including Barbra Streisand's 
@mikes and Santana's guitars, is as yet unknown, they, too, will possibly resurface under different

@ECrespi believes that whoever wished to restart Hovland Company would first have to buy the 
@rights back from that creditor for perhaps $200,000, then approach Hovland's Jeffrey Tonkin
@and chief engineer Peter Russell and sign them to a contract. The next task would be to

@@@The new Naim DAC is a high performance zero S/PDIF jitter digital to analogue converter. 
@@It is power supply upgradeable, includes eight S/PDIF inputs: Two 75Ω BNC, Two RCA and

@@on the front and rear panels, which facilitate USB memory stick playback and fully

@EWhat makes it a Zero S/PDIF Jitter DAC?
@@@Besides the usual attention to the finest detail for which Naimfs R&D is world-renowned and 
@@which will be obvious from the list of key points below, the special element of the design is the 
@@way in the Naim DAC that the master clock is not recovered from the S/PDIF signal as in
@@other DACs. Instead, the incoming audio data from S/PDIF is stored in solid-state memory
@@and then clocked back out to the DAC chips using a fixed-frequency local master clock.
@@@This eliminates jitter caused by S/PDIF. In essence the memory, master clock and DAC 
@@structure behaves in a similar manner to the CD, master clock and DAC structure of a CD

@@@The Naim DACfs high-speed DSP (digital signal processor) front-end is electrically isolated 
@@from its high-resolution DAC and analogue circuits. The two sections are also run from
@@separate power supplies significantly reducing the effect of RF noise (S/PDIF is a source of
@@RF noise) from the S/PDIF circuitry on the DAC stage.
@@@Naimfs buffer or memory method of jitter removal relies on a simple concept: the audio data 
@@is clocked into the memory at the incoming inconsistently-timed rate, and is then clocked out
@@of the memory and into the DAC chips using a precise clock. The rate at which the memory
@@fills and empties is controlled by selecting the master clock that best matches the average 
@@incoming clock frequency. In this way, the data entering the DAC chips is completely isolated

@@@The Naim DAC digital filtering is handled by an extremely powerful SHARC DSP chip running 
@@unique Naim authored code to create an ultra high precision 40bit floating point filter. The filter 
@@over-samples by 16 times on 44.1kHz data and provides stop-band attenuation of 156dB with
