Adaptive Bias Control Klimax Solo 800 features our original Adaptive Bias Control technology. With it, we establish the ideal bias current for each of the amp’s sixteen output transistors dynamically and in real-time by measuring, sampling and digitising the current supplied to them. A digital control loop then implements and persistently adjusts this optimum bias current for each individual transistor specifically; negating crossover distortion at any temperature – regardless of volume or demanding dynamic changes in music – for the entirety of the amp’s life.

Cool Runnings Klimax Solo 800 features superb heat management; driving the most difficult of loads without compromising linearity or resorting to an internal fan. Excellent heat coupling is achieved by mounting the amplifier and power supply circuitry directly to the critically efficient, large surface area heatsinks. This cool-running design is key to delivering exceptional clarity right up to 800W into 4Ω, and 1.2kW into 2Ω. Temperature is minimised within the amp, ensuring that the properties of its internal components remain consistent during even the loudest and most demanding passages of music. It maintains consistency, efficiency and longevity at all times.

Powered by Utopik Our all-new, Utopik switch-mode power supply topology for Klimax Solo 800 boasts precision-regulated power rails. It provides the best of both worlds, generating 2kW maximum power output whilst retaining speed, responsiveness and consummate efficiency. It maintains extremely steady output voltage; the rails perform consistently in the face of dramatic loading changes. What’s more, if the mains input varies, the output won’t – remaining stable and ultra-pure at all times. With Utopik for Klimax Solo 800, we have progressed a step further to minimise switching noise and improve efficiency by utilising a technique called ‘soft-switching’; a resonant tank circuit ensures that voltage across the switch falls to zero before the switch is thrown. Thanks to soft-switching, Utopik for Klimax Solo 800 is cleaner, more efficient, and remains whisper-quiet over the full range of operating conditions.

THE SOUND OF EXCELLENCE The Telos 2800 delivers a maximum power output of 450 Wrms on 8 Ω with 1% THD, demonstrating its impressive audio prowess. Its distortion level nearly inexistent boasts less than 0.05% IMD (SMPTE) and THD+N, unloaded, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 30 Vrms output. The input noise floor is below 3 μV from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
With a gain of 35 dB and a dynamic range of 110 dB within a 22 kHz measurement bandwidth, the Telos 2800 ensures clarity and depth in audio reproduction. A damping factor of 600 at 1 kHz / 8 Ω highlights the amplifier’s ability to control speaker drivers for precise audio output
HEAR THE DIFFERENCE At the heart of the Telos 2800 lies a robust 3200 VA toroidal power transformer, now enhanced in size and power to deliver even more power in the same case. This enhancement is complemented by a colossal capacitor bank of 109,600 µF, which has been increased to improve the dynamic and reactivity of the amplifier. This bank includes custom Goldmund branded capacitors, further elevating the quality of the amplifier.
SOUND, REIMAGINED The Telos 2800 introduces a significant improvement in heat dissipation. A new CNC machined heat sink covers the entire rear panel of the amplifier, allowing more surface area to dissipate the heat generated by the power supply. This new heat-sink design has been used on these amplifiers to ensure optimal thermal management.
The rear panel is elegantly outfitted with an array of analogue and digital inputs, ensuring seamless compatibility with a diverse spectrum of audio sources.

INNOVATION IN FULL BLOOM
While the use of natural materials is a hallmark of Sonus faber tradition, the electro-acoustic design has been completely reimagined. The new Camelia midrange, responsible for the most important part of the acoustic spectrum, was developed to ensure maximum resolution, while maintaining the signature Natural Sound of Sonus faber. The form of the new membrane is inspired by the camelia— a prized flower in the region of Tuscany. Its shape is not masked by suspensions and avoids the formation of resonances typical of circular shapes
NEW DUAL DRIVE MAGNETIC SYSTEM
Control and dynamics are secured by the new dual drive magnetic system. The air flow management is held by the organic basket, a Sonus faber original design first implemented on Stradivari woofers.
CORK INTERNAL VOLUME
The special combination of tweeters and midrange are loaded into a unique chamber dedicated to internal volume, designed to enhance the performance of the drivers. Obtained through the use of a computer simulator, the result is a purely organic shape, without regular interior walls and built in a new, natural and sustainable material: cork. Sonus faber can proudly claim to be the first to use recycled cork to create acoustic volume. The acoustic properties of this material play a fundamental role in the resolution and natural quality of the midrange performance.
THE SUPREMA SUBWOOFER
For the best reproduction of infrasonic frequencies, a separate subwoofer system has been engineered to optimize the low range response based on the listening environment, regardless of the position of the main columns. The Suprema Subwoofer uses two powerful 38cm transducers, featuring forged carbon fiber membranes and a neodymium magnet motor system to ensure undistorted pressures up to 16hz.
THE CROSSOVER NETWORKS
These cutting-edge filters, sleekly visible on the sides of the main column, embody a decade of electroacoustic expertise. Sonus faber meticulously crafted Suprema’s tonal perfection through simulations, tests, and listening sessions, ensuring impeccable soundstage performance. The Suprema’s integration with subwoofers is managed by a dual mono, fully balanced electronic crossover. Suprema’s ground coupling control, in collaboration with IsoAcoustics, achieves exceptional dynamics and power while preventing unwanted vibrations.
POLTRONA FRAU LEATHER In keeping with our brand’s tradition, the front panel is adorned with luxurious leather, a collaboration with the esteemed Italian luxury forniture brand, Poltrona Frau. Each set of Suprema speakers will showcase distinctive Poltrona Frau’s Pelle Frau® Impact Less leather, a chromium-free tanning process leather launched in 2022.
