Sonusfaber Minima Amator II を正式発表！！
Sonus faber is proud to participate in this year’s Munich High End show taking place May 9th to 12th at the MOC (Lilienthalallee 40, 80939 Munich, Germany) and invite you to visit their German distributor booth location – Audio Reference (Room D111, Atrium 3) where they’ll be on site to introduce their newest project – Minima Amator II.
THE PROJECT – BECAUSE THERE IS NO FUTURE WITHOUT A PAST
Some products are not meant to be tied to a singular historical moment. Electa Amator III and Minima Amator II were born with this concept in mind and together give life to the Heritage collection from Sonus faber. Paying homage to its past through classic design, while strongly breaking through the barrier of time with an electro-acoustic point of view, the Heritage collection transmits the tradition of the brand and enhances its artistic relevance.
Because there is no future, without a past.
The natural evolution of today’s Sonus faber, is enclosed in this new creation. Minima Amator II is the restatement of a fundamental product first introduced in 1992 when the company was establishing key principles that would go on to guide future productions: accurate design and high-quality natural materials, combined to obtain a sound reproduction as natural as possible.
THE DESIGN
Inspired by 36 years of worldwide experience in the Audio High-End sector, Minima Amator II merges the brand’s iconic style with innovative technology bringing to life the fundamentals of high-end Italian craftsmanship to create musical instruments.
The new Minima Amator II is a creation clearly dedicated to music reproduction with a lifestyle aesthetic that effortlessly lends itself to any environment.
The compact, solid walnut wood of the cabinet adds to the speaker’s sound quality, resulting in a harmonious, smooth and consistent listening experience. The cabinet is embellished by a thin brass insert at the base, reminiscent of the elegant Electa Amator III design.
The front baffle shows the iconic shape of the Voice of Sonus faber and is covered in leather. The rear panel, also covered in leather, houses the exit of the reflex duct and is embellished by the brass binding posts.
The Minima Amator II was intended to be a bookshelf speaker but is designed to be paired with the Carrara Stand (natural completion of Electa Amator III) or with the Unicum stand.
ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS – TINY BUT MIGHTY
Minima Amator II is a 2-way bookshelf loudspeaker system; a simple project that features the patents and technological solutions that characterize the latest Sonus faber creations:
• A 28 mm silk dome Tweeter, implemented with the DAD – Damped Apex DomeTM technology, for a clear high frequency reproduction.
• The “Paracross topologyTM” crossover design, for the best dynamic range and highly defined musical detail;
• A 6-inch midwoofer, developed in the Vicenza-based laboratory, features the well-known cellulose pulp and natural fibers cone on a die-cast aluminum basket, able to reveal even the smallest details during music reproduction

The suggested retail price for the pair of loudspeakers is 4.000€ (VAT included)
MARKET AVAILABILITY
Minima Amator II will be available in European markets in June and in North American and Asian markets in July of 2019.

Sonus faberから Minima Amator II登場！！
Sonus faber is ready to present the new Minima Amator II, which was first released in 1992.
Today, 27 years later, it announces the “II” version, Minima Amator II, which is part of the Special Edition series, which will be called the Heritage collection.
The pair’s price is expected to be around € 4,000 and released in July 2019

For Immediate Release, May 2019 – IsoTek the leading brand of power conditioning solutions for hi-fi and home cinema systems launches the Super Nova at the High-End Show, Munich. The
new addition to the Ultimate Series, Super Nova is the most sophisticated (passive) front-end source component power cleaning system IsoTek has developed so far. The Super Nova
is designed for primary components that typically have a constant current draw, thus CD Players, Music Servers, DAC, Pre-Amplifiers, Phono stages etc. Each of the eight power outlets has its own dedicated power cleaning system, and each output has over 100’000 Amps (1840 joules) of protection, that’s over 800’000 combined. Priced at £9995.00 (including VAT), the Super Nova features ground filtering which is fully compliant with certification and safety standards; this is further clamped with an electronic protection circuit. Therefore, each connected component’s functional lifetime will increase as well as being totally protected against dangerous power surges and voltage spikes.
The Super Nova design includes a sophisticated new choke which allows a series connection that
quadruples the inductance giving a vast increase in filtering at a constant 10 Amps if needed. In turn, this provides a typical load of 25-40W a massive power reserve. In addition, two specialised radio frequency chokes which combined with capacitances produce a high level of classical (Pi filter) design filtration.
Furthermore, there is the unique Nova adaptive gate system which produces the optimum resistance
capacitance barrier eliminating differential mode cross-contamination.
Unlike some power clean concepts Super Nova not only adjusts to the connected load, it creates the
ultimate barrier to differential mode noise cross-contamination but also has the virtue of high transient power
handling ability should it be required. Consequently, bring a very reliable conditioner irrespective of
operation.
All internal wiring features silver plated ultra-pure OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) Copper with IsoTek’s VAD
(Virtual Air Dielectric) technology. All PCB circuits feature double Oz copper. These qualities are remarkable
in themselves however when they multiple eight times they achieve exactly with IsoTek standards, which is
total isolation of each output socket from mains noise or in other words ultimate “isolation technology”.
Key Features and Benefits:
• Removes both common mode and differential mode mains noise.
• Over 100,000A (1840 joules) of instantaneous protection for each output socket.
• Eight medium-current outlets, rated at 16A, features a sophisticated new choke which allows a series
connection that quadruples the inductance giving a massive increase in filtering at a constant 10 Amps if
required.
• Eight unique conditioning stages ensure optimal isolation between each outlet, eliminating differential
mode cross-contamination.
• KERP© (Kirchoff’s Equal Resistance Path) technology ensures equal resistance and equal power
delivery to all outlets, with no interference from one socket to the next.
• IsoTek VAD barrier – To obtain a dielectric Constance close to a vacuum, IsoTek has created a Virtual
Air Dielectric offering just 1.0548 dielectric Constance. This air barrier is achieved by minimal conductor
contact and the use of an FEP (Teflon) bridge.
• Optional DC can be installed
• Available with UK, US, AU (Chinese) sockets.
