The internal conductors – consisting of many pure OFC silver coated strands – have been carefully selected after hours of testing, listening and comparing. The wiring is encased in a massive aluminum housing with optimal EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) and RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) shielding. The Pearl series has been released in honor of Cayin’s 30th anniversary. Pure high-end. The series consists of an integrated amplifier, Pearl 30i, a separate DAC and a CD player. All consist of a duo housing in which the power supply is separate from the main unit. This trio is the ultimate in the Cayin product family.
The Pearl 30D has two different hardware architectures to form two decoding systems that can be activated optionally and adjusted depending on the audio signal format. At the same time, an auto mode is available; the system recognizes the parameters of the digital audio signal format to automatically select the appropriate decoding system.
A traveling section is equipped with a TDA1307 and two TDA1547 chips, as a classic D/A wall with a retro sound signature.
The second converter section consists of 4 x ESS9039SPRO for high-resolution conversion.
The synchronized clocking with extremely low phase noise ensures the accuracy of the digital audio signal.
The Pearl 30D has an external reference clock input interface (10 MHz), a synchronous clock output interface that can be connected to an external clock, or can be used as a synchronization clock source to synchronize the system clocks of various digital device combinations.
This comprehensively improves the playback quality of the entire system and enables an excellent listening experience.
The physical structure of the Pearl 30D power supply consists of a split power supply system and a host power supply system. An extremely clean power supply is achieved via complex rectifier and filter circuits.
The host power supply system consists of a super-linear voltage stabilization circuit consisting of six groups of discrete components. A set of ultra-low noise Linear LT1963 voltage regulators enables effective voltage stabilization for the high voltage supply.
The integrated full-channel digital audio jitter cleaner significantly reduces the jitter of the SPDIF and IIS signal, thus significantly improving the sound quality. The digital audio data lines and clock lines in the device use low-loss, stable impedance matching. The RF coaxial cable transmission reduces signal loss and waveform distortion and suppresses jitter.

The crossover for Coltrane Quintet offers sound which is open, clean and dynamic, making it exceptionally powerful in the bass frequencies. This type of crossover makes it possible to have perfect time and phase coherence; and flawless time coincidence. This means that all registers are generated at the exact same moment, as it was recorded.
