The S Series was redefined in 2023 with the debut of the groundbreaking S3, setting a newbenchmark for performance.The following year brought the larger, more ambitious S5,pushing the series even further. In late 2024, Magico unveiled the remarkably compact S2,delivering astonishing power and resolution in a smaller form factor. Now, the journeyreaches its pinnacle with the commanding S7-bold, uncompromising, and definitive.
Proven Performance
The Magico S7 is the result of an extensive research-and-development program thatintroduced advanced engineering methodologies now fundamental to the flagship M Series.During development,Magico employed a Near-Field Scanner (NFS) robot to performcomprehensive acoustic measurements across the entire 3D sphere surrounding theloudspeaker.This exhaustive analysis of on- and off-axis behavior produced a completeacoustic map of the S7, enabling Magico engineers to refine its performance withextraordinary precision. The result is a loudspeaker that approaches the theoretical ideal fora multi-way design-delivering sound reproduction of exceptional accuracy, coherence,andrealism.
Engineered Silence
The S7’s massive aluminum enclosure features a curved, sculpted form refined throughadvanced 3D simulation to dramatically reduce internal resonances. The structure enhancesrigidity while enabling Magico’s proprietary damping techniques to perform at their highestlevel. The curved front baffle further minimizes diffraction, improving overall acousticperformance.
Using a Laser Vibrometer, Magico engineers identified even the most minute cabinetvibrations and the sound pressure they generated. This forensic level of analysis allowed unwanted resonances to be eliminated early in the design process-achieving one of theS7’s most critical objectives: a cabinet that contributes no audible coloration, preserving thepurity of the musical signal.
A further result of this optimization, the S7’s internal volume has been increased from 135liters to 180 liters compared to the previous S Series flagship. This expansion extends bassresponse by an additional 5Hz while maintaining the same speaker sensitivity-deliveringdeeper,more authoritative low-frequency performance without compromise.
Precision in Motion
Driver technology lies at the core of every Magico loudspeaker design, and the S7 representsthe brand’s most advanced work to date.
At the heart of the S7 is Magico’s Nano-Tec Gen 8 cone, featuring an aluminum-honeycombcore sandwiched between graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins. Enabled by cutting-edgemanufacturing techniques, this structure achieves an unprecedented combination of lowmass, extreme rigidity, and superior damping-resulting in remarkably low distortion.
Complementing the cone design is an all-new, third-generation driver chassis developedover three years of intensive research. This re-engineered platform improves forcedistribution, refines suspension geometry, and employs a dual-post architecture to balancedynamic wire tension. The result is exceptional stiffness with optimal damping, minimizedresonance, and improved airflow for cleaner, more accurate sound.
Drawing from technology first realized in the M Project loudspeaker,the S7 employs threewoofers vertically aligned. This configuration mitigates floor-bounce effects and smooths in-room frequency response, producing more predictable and linear midbass performance inreal-world listening environments.
Five Drivers,One Voice
The S7’s high-frequency performance is anchored by a tweeter derived directly from theacclaimed M Series. Its 28mm diamond-coated pure-beryllium diaphragm offers anextraordinary stiffness-to-weight ratio, driven by a powerful neodymium motor system forlow distortion and increased power handling. Extensive FEA modeling was used toacoustically optimize the tweeter’s back chamber, resulting in high-frequency reproductionrich in nuance, texture, and transparency.
Midrange duties are handled by a 6-inch driver featuring a 3-inch titanium voice coil housedin Magico’s third-generation chassis. Utilizing the Nano-Tec Gen 8 cone, along with a fullcopper cap and oversized neodymium magnets, this driver delivers benchmark-levelperformance in both frequency response and time-domain accuracy-producing midrangeclarity and realism of remarkable fidelity.
For low-frequency reproduction, the S7 surpasses every S Series model before it. Three 10-inch woofers-each equipped with a 5-inch titanium voice coil, Nano-Tec Gen 8 cone,massive copper cap, and half an inch of linear excursion-deliver bass that is bothprofoundly deep and exceptionally controlled. The result is powerful, room-filling low-frequency energy that preserves the integrity of the original recording.
Coherence by Design
The S7’s five drivers are unified through Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO), athree-way design employing acoustical-target 24dB Linkwitz-Riley slopes. This approachmaintains phase and frequency linearity while reducing intermodulation distortion, allowingthe drivers to operate as a single,cohesive system.
The ESXO crossover incorporates an array of state-of-the-art components from Mundorf ofGermany. For the first time in an S Series loudspeaker, the S7 also features CAST PP Radialcapacitors from Duelund Coherent Audio of Denmark. The result is complete coherenceacross the audible spectrum-seamless, natural, and uncompromised.

The S7 is available in a curated selection of premium finishes, including six Softec (powdercoat) options renowned for their deep, vibrant color, silky-smooth texture, and exceptionaldurability, as well as six High Gloss (automobile paint) finishes polished to a mirror-likesheen and sealed with a protective clear coat. Supporting the enclosure is a precision-engineered three-foot support system featuring constrained-layer damping and premiummaterials, further enhancing mechanical stability and sonic performance.
