We’re showcasing and auditioning our latest Ferrum products at two audio shows! Ferrum will be at the Audio Video Show Warsaw (October 24-26) and the Paris Audio Video Show (October 25-27).
We’re giving a sneak peek at an exciting new product!
At both events, we’ll be showcasing BROEN—a Network Streaming Transport—to the public for the first time.
Opening with the tagline “It’s not a streamer…it’s a work of art,” we hope to evoke an image of what a high-end streamer should be like.
Our streaming story begins with the recent WANDLA 2.0.0 firmware update, which introduced Ferrum Streaming Control Technology (FSCT).
This technology transforms the WANDLA series DAC into an ideal partner for a wide range of streamers. In fact, we were already conceiving of BROEN when developing this technology.

BROEN isn’t just any streaming device; we wanted it to set a new standard.
We set out from the ground up, exploring new territories to create the best digital bridge we could imagine, hence the name “BROEN,” which means “bridge” in Danish.
We redesigned the SERCE module from the ground up to focus on the digital realm, creating a completely new “heart” for BROEN.
The innovations are endless, one of which is upgradeability.
The first major upgrade is connecting BROEN to WANDLA.
Using FSCT technology, you can control BROEN using WANDLA’s touchscreen and remote,
creating a perfectly matched streaming DAC/preamplifier system.
Another upgrade option is pairing BROEN (or both BROEN and WANDLA) with HYPSOS,
creating Ferrum’s flagship streaming system. BROEN is powered by Volumio, a streaming-optimized software platform with over 500,000 users, ensuring stable and reliable operation.
