Herford, May 2025 – T+A elektroakustik GmbH & Co. KG, Germany’s leading manufacturer of high-endaudio systems, has taken the next step in its long-term leadership succession.Company founder SiegfriedAmft has transferred his ownership shares to Conradin Amft, who has previously served as a member ofthe executive management team and will now assume the role of CEO. This step ensures T+A’s position asan owner operated business, Siegfried Amft will remain on board as Managing Director, continuing tosupport the company with his decades of experience.
Founded in 1978 by Siegfried Amft in a converted bakery, T+A has grown from a small loudspeaker specialist intoan internationally recognized developer of audiophile reference products. The Herford-based company is known forits relentless innovation and uncompromising commitment to quality, design, and sound-from its ground-breakingelectronics series of the 1980s to today’s cutting-edge streaming and headphone systems.
The foundation for the next generation was laid with the arrival of Conradin Amft in 2018. A graduate in economicsand business administration, ranked top of his class, Conradin gained prior experience in the watchmaking andaudio industries, as well as in consulting, teaching, and research. Under his guidance,T+Ahas begun its strategictransformation into a technology-driven luxury brand. Key milestones of his work include the launch of theheadphone portfolio, the establishment of the company’s own sales and marketing subsidiary in the United States,and the successful international positioning of the T+A brand.
